Once We Were Giants

Sometimes two strangers meet and, for a brief moment, something unexpected happens. A conversation becomes deeper than it should. There is a sense of familiarity, of recognising something in another person that cannot quite be explained.

Perhaps we have known each other before. Perhaps it is simply the intensity of being truly seen, even for a moment.

And then the encounter ends. We return to our separate lives, carrying something of it with us.

Once We Were Giants is about those fleeting connections that seem disproportionately large compared with the time we actually shared, moments when another person can suddenly feel enormous in our world, before quietly becoming a memory.
