Lara Granqvist is a Swedish-English musician, fine artist, and multi-disciplinary creator whose work spans genre-spanning indie rock, evocative abstract painting, and concept-driven design. Through every medium she touches, Lara's work is bound by a unifying exploration of human experience: examining connectivity, empathy, and the unseen structures that bring us together.

Lara first made a major impact on the international music scene as co-founder of The Mighty Roars, formed in 2006. The band released their critically acclaimed album Swine & Cockerel on One Little Independent Records, earning 4-star reviews in Q Magazine, rotation on BBC Radio 1 and MTV, and landmark festival appearances. The Mighty Roars later expanded into a multidisciplinary art-and-music collective, experimenting with film and visual releases, including the single Dark Shark Holes, nominated for "Best Video" at the 2022 London Music Video Festival.

Parallel to her music, Lara has cultivated an expressive fine art and design practice. Her debut solo series, The Infamous Bunga Parties, a fine art satire on modern politics, sold out completely in Palma de Mallorca. Her practice has since expanded into permanent fine art and rotating physical releases, including limited-edition silkscreens, wearable art collections, and multidisciplinary concepts. Her fine art centers on two core series:

FRACTALS: Inspired by mathematical patterns within human thought, this series explores interconnectedness, consciousness, and the recurring structures found in nature and the universe.

IN AURAS: Born from observing travelers passing through a hotel reception, these paintings capture presence, longing, distance, and the mysterious energy existing in the invisible spaces between people.

Now based in Spain's Balearic Islands, Lara brings her creative universe into her newest musical endeavor: LatotaL. Born in a small island village, LatotaL brings together an eclectic quartet of musicians from distinct global backgrounds. Bound by a shared need to break original ground, the band crafts an innovative, genre-spanning sound anchored by Lara's inspired, unconventional songwriting and a vocal delivery that shifts effortlessly from brooding tension to raw playfulness. Currently in the studio recording new material, LatotaL represents an uninhibited fusion of cultures, energy, and total commitment.
